Questions groomers ask first.
How is Seglo different from other grooming software?
It checks whether the dog fits the real day before you accept the booking: a groomer who can take this dog, enough time for the coat, and a free bath and dryer. Price and time can change with the dog's size and how long since the last groom. After the groom, your notes and the pet's care cycle shape the next booking.
How much does Seglo cost?
Seglo for Business is free for one location, with your whole team included. Starter is A$49, Growth A$99 and Scale A$199 a month, excluding GST. Scale includes multiple locations; Custom plans are available by enquiry. Seglo charges your business 0.5% per successful eligible online payment, including GST. Stripe processing fees are separate.
Can I try it before I pay?
Yes. Try Starter features for 14 days with no credit card required, or keep the Free plan with no time limit.
Does my whole team get a login?
Yes. Every plan includes your whole team. Owners, groomers, bathers, receptionists and casual staff each get their own login.
Can customers book online?
Yes, on every plan including Free. The Free plan also includes the calendar, pet records, rostering, pay calculation and commission.
Can I move from my current booking software?
Yes. Export your records and upload them in Seglo, and the team prepares and checks the import with you. Customers, pets, staff, services, upcoming appointments and up to three years of past visits come across, with your notes as written.
How long does switching take?
One to two days from when your export reaches the team, and most finish within 24 hours. Already on Square? It imports itself, and both systems run side by side until you are ready to switch.
Does it work with several groomers or locations?
Yes. Bookings are matched to who is working and qualified for the service, and you can book the bath and dryer a groom needs as well as the groomer. Scale includes multiple locations. Custom plans are available for larger grooming groups.
Does it include reports?
Yes. From Starter, you get sales, booking and client reports.
Can I take card payments?
Stripe online payments and saved-card bookings are available on every plan after payment setup. Tap to Pay is included from Starter. On any plan you can record cash, or a payment taken on your own card machine, against the booking.
Does it send appointment reminders?
Yes. Email reminders are included. SMS reminders use prepaid credit at A$0.06 per message segment, excluding GST.
Is Seglo an Australian company?
Yes. Seglo is made for Australian groomers by SEGLO PTY LTD (ABN 65 694 776 488). Prices are in Australian dollars with GST shown separately, and you can reach support at support@seglo.ai.
